Now these are the few times that I really wish I am a girl!

Yeah it doesn’t mean I’m gay that I want to be a girl. I have my exceptions though – clothes and shoes, all those straight men, and privileges like these. Haha! I’ve been talking to my college best friend, Hanna, that we’ve been thru crazy auditions as BFFs, but we think we cannot this time. How I wish I am a crazy girl right now :P

SO WHY NOT?! Why not go on a crazy week and do something outrageous everyday? Dress up like it’s Halloween (or Born This Way Ball, lolz) everyday. Talk to a complete stranger and sing Call Me Maybe. Walk in a straight line anywhere. Pretend that it’s your birthday. OR WHAT ELSE YOU CAN THINK OF SOMETHING CRAZY? What matters is the adventure you’ll get while doing it!

Rexona asks us, WHY NOT? So maybe Hanna and I will end up auditioning? WATCH OUT :P

Last Monday, just right before Independence day, along with some bloggers, we spent dinner at M Cafe with Rexona and Unilever Philippines to discuss this new crazy project. I tell you, the girls behind this were crazy too, I love them!

It was a sunny summer afternoon in Maginhawa. And a certain tea shop that goes by the name of Moonleaf held the summer party that ended all summer parties this year. Milk tea + bands + free photo booth and henna + TWO new tea flavors? What more can you ask for? OH YEAH — summer rain and dancing in it like nobody cares!

Bloggers United STRIKES 3!

Third time’s the charm for the most anticipated fashion bloggers event in the country!

Bloggers United is staging their third bloggers bazaar this June 2 at the Grandview Events Place to once again gather Manila’s top fashion bloggers in one single venue outside of the World Wide Web. The show was meant to show Richard’s two sides, as Gutz N’ Glory fragrances has two distinct aroma as well. There was a fashion show as well to showcase Bench’s new offerings for the summer!

Shoot with the Probe Team

Day 1

These are the behind-the-scenes of the shoot I did with Probe last week. We were to reenact the accounts of Wachi participation in the war with Japan during World War II. It wasn’t a role I was really gunning for, for all you know I’d better be behind the camera. But I didn’t pass for the opportunity (maybe the last one I’ll get) to act in front of a camera.

I can’t hide though that I enjoyed watching the production set up instead of acting. Haha! Anyway, again I want to thank Probe for this experience and for the wonderful stay at BAE (pictures after the jump)!

Went to Young Star’s 16 x 16 exhibit at the Archaeology Wing of Powerplant Mall at Rockwell. The exhibit by 16 of the country’s budding artists (two collaborated for each piece) namely, BJ Pascual and Valerie Chua, Your Evil Twin and Paulina Ortega, Cholo Dela Vega and Kristine Caguiat, Tricia Gosingtian and Christian San Jose, Carina Santos and Hannah Reyes, Luis Santos and Joseph Pascual, and Gabby Cantero and Cj de Silva was to commemorate Young Star’s 16th anniversary.

I had, yet again, a mini-project running through my mind. I thought of getting everybody’s solo headshot. I used to do this in events, but you know how you get tired when something becomes a routine. So I kinda missed it and took everybody’s headshot…

Anyway, I think I’ll need to title this post as my Postura Day 1, but I know I can’t keep up to do this. Haha! Anyway, I just know we’ll keep on, and never tire supporting these Filipino brands, just as we are showing support for all these up and coming artists!

Shift to Shiny

Finally got my FIRST Paradigm Shift piece! This pair of harem shorts is from their Shiny collection. This is for me, their best collection ever! I find myself broke now, because I’ve ordered some more pieces. Can you blame me? It’s that good! The fabric is soft, and I really love the addition of the PVC  fabric!

Now I just wish I have a smaller shin, so I could easily remove it. But that’s no longer their problem, that’s mine already, haha!

Go on a trip with PHL360!

PHL360° is a 16-episode fusion of reality TV and travel show circling around the stories of eight indie travelers embarking on a trip around the Philippines. This is an entertaining and informative project for gung-ho and bold travelers who share the same passion and advocacies as independent travelers. Eight different kinds of travelers doing four extraordinary trips in four different destinations in the country (north, south, east and west).

Eight folks will be grouped into four. Say, a surfer is partnered with mountaineer or party-traveler meets camper. Each duo travels to a place both not suited to their personalities with a mission of “how they will make the trip extra meaningful.” We will see what happens after the weekender trip and some surprise twists along the way. It is a reality/documentary show so everything will be recorded from pre-travel to post trip. Each show runs for 15 minutes, airing every Tuesday and Saturday.

Just as I was finished with my Puerto Galera series, and recovering from my expenses, and paying off debts, and now have a whole lot like a travel plan thereafter; I came across a friend who introduced me to this somewhat between a dream and a life plan. PHL360 is as ambitious as it gets, but I must admit that this looks like a lot of promise. I’ll definitely be glued to my laptop every Tuesday and Saturday because I know somebody out there is living my dream.

Not that it frustrates me, but I am rather challenged and inspired as early as now… and it hasn’t even started yet! My dream in a webisode, I think, I better start saving now, before I succumb!

This will keep me up all night… you know, thinking about travel and… that lifestyle I wish I get to live. I wish the best, and may the odds be ever in your favor, Team PHL360!
