12 Days: Apple playing Santa!

And it’s here… Finally it’s Christmas in five days. Come to think of it, I still haven’t posted about my Annual Holiday Wishlist… Soon, though. But Apple looks like they figured out what you want with the 12 Days App! I dunno though why it starts on December 26 rather than the 13th, but who cares? It still is free apps/music/who knows what from everybody’s no-longer-secret Santa!

So if I were you before the servers get crammed, go download it now. And let’s all have a happy holidays!

For now, they’re giving away Rod Stewart’s music video of Let It Snow! If it’s your thing, then go figure. Y’all know how I feel about Christmas tunes… So yeah. Hahahaha!

Living Organized

UPDATE: Living Organized app is NOW FREE in iOS until Jan. 2, 2013 and also at the Google Play Store for an indefinite time! Go download now :)

Dec 7, 2012, 4:47 AM

And it’s the most wonderful time of the year… You can sing all the songs about Christmas but you ain’t denyin’ that it is the busiest, single most hectic month of the year. Your boss rings your phone every five minutes, your dad, or mom, or both needs a couple of your advice for this gift, and you still need to plan that fucking Christmas/New Year/Reunion party. You don’t wanna end up being the haggard fag on your party that’s why you need an app to aid you in your schedule gone wild.

Dec 5, 2012, 11:44 AM

And my choice of schedule-that-shit app is Living Organized. I got this for free during Black Friday, and it’s been keeping my schedule tame for around two-three weeks already… I’m about to tell you how it works… First, let’s remember that it requires you to make an account online so your schedule is backed up on cloud, and a passcode to make it secure.

Dec 5, 2012, 11:44 AM

The interface is quite simple. You can enter your to-do’s at TASKS, personal data at VAULT, tick off your CHECKLISTS, upload important FILES, record your daily EXPENSES, Aand even create a day-to-day DIARY. A unique function of this app is that you can share content to partners. But it kinda requires payment… ‘Round 99 cents.

Dec 5, 2012, 11:49 AM

In the Tasks tab, you can indicate your task and assign people, or share to partners, complete with date, time, and location. It also syncs with your calendar so Living Organized can alert you.

Dec 5, 2012, 11:49 AM

Same goes with the Vault and Files tab. Every information you add can be shared to partners. Isn’tit convenient.

Dec 5, 2012, 11:49 AM

Dec 5, 2012, 11:49 AM

Same goes with Expenses. You can input your expenses with description, timestamp, and location.

Dec 5, 2012, 11:49 AM

What else? Of course we have the Diary app which helps you keep track of your day in the personal basis!

In summary, here’s how the Living Organized can help you :)

Living Organized is available in the App Store for $9.99, but I got it for free! Heard also, that it’s coming soon to Android! If it weren’t free, I would’ve bought it still just because I can do so much with it…

And there’s no hassle planning that holiday whatnot party. Or any party for that matter. Don’t be the stressed party planner who never enjoys his/her own party! And to think, it’s more than party planning… You can now have a one-stop tool to manage your schedule :)

Of course, even better, ’cause they use cloud backup, it’s even more effective with Globe Mobile Data Services! Click here to know more about their data plans and promos.

Happy Holidays everyone!

A zoo this cute must be kept by a cute zookeeper

Nah, disregard my title. My titles keeps on getting weirder and sometimes bordering on the naught, I know…

Nov 10, 2012, 2:41 AM

But, all I wanna zpazz about is this cute and simple game from the App Store! It was the featured app last week, and I really really am sorry for not sharing immediately when I saw it. Think it’s not free anymore, but there’s no harm in checking again, haha!

Nov 10, 2012, 2:40 AM

I can’t get over how CUTE this game is! Though it will most prolly remind you of the game Bejewelled, which if you don’t know where have you been hiding all these years, seriously?

And more cuteness! When the time is almost up, all the animals in the zoo wiggles (oh, I love seeing that!) but it’s so hard to screencap while playing so yeah, get it and see it for yourself, hehe…Nov 10, 2012, 3:00 AM

Sep 25, 2012, 5:44 PM

The skulldriver is my ultimate enemy outside of this app. I’d have emotions while killing this mofo. Hahaha talk about getting real about it!

Sep 25, 2012, 5:43 PM

This one’s my favorite, really showed you what a cramp is!

Sep 25, 2012, 5:43 PM

Unfortunately, it’s only available on Android. I wish they made one for iOS, though. You can download the app on Google Play here.

Vintique is App of The Weeque

Haha, idk why I typed that, but it just rhymes and it sounds good. LOL!

Ayway, this week, the App Store introduced its App of the Week featuring Vintique. At first glance Vintique looks like your usual Instagram shit – filters, frames, and that kind of stuff you see going on almost every Instagram-inspired app. But Vintique is different. It has more filters, and it has Photoshop-level powers! I think photographers who don't have time to open their laptops to edit their photos can take advantage of this app. It has saturation, temperature, tint, hue, exposure, and gamma levels available for tweaking if you're one OC photographer.

What I don't know is if it's a paid app before it became App of the Week. It wouldn't hurt to download it now, just in case it is though, haha.

You can download Vintique directly on your iPhone, iPod touch, or iPad here:

Social, you say?

I’m too busy to stay at one place to open a computer and check my online accounts. Consider also that my work revolves around social networks, and that doesn’t really discount that I stay home all-day to check Facebook and Twitter… and the never-ending list of social media platforms. So thank the heavens for apps that makes our online and mobile lives easier. With the right device (battery is an issue here!) and mobile connection, you’ll never have to say… “late status” ever again!

Oct 13, 2012, 5:00 AM

It’s a no-brainer that my first social app to put here is my blog platform! I really love how WordPress did their iPad app. It’s convenient, and minimal. It’s easy to use with one thing that I wish they put in the updates in the future – I wish there’s an option to easily upload multiple photos. Aside from that, I can totally live with blogging using an iPad only.

Oct 13, 2012, 5:10 AM

Need you Tumblr fix? It’s available in your phone/tablet… All you need is connection and you can post, reblog, and like posts from this app. You can also manage ALL your accounts, so it’s easy to shift from one Tumblr account to another. Woohoo!

Get Glue

Oct 13, 2012, 5:12 AM

For those not familiar with Get Glue, it is a social media platform that highlights media like TV shows, movies, books, music, among others. With their updated app, you can now learn more about the movie or TV show that you’re watching in the app!

Oct 13, 2012, 5:10 AM

This one’s for the foodies out there! Using GPS, Foodspotting locates the nearest food places and also shows the pictures people have shared. Now that’s one convenient app to find out where to go on your next big date!

Oct 13, 2012, 5:14 AM

Mainstream or hipster, you’ll love this app if you love music! Share your favorite music through this app, and discover some new upcoming bands and music along the way, too!

Oct 13, 2012, 5:05 AM

I bet you didn’t expect to see this here. But as for news sharing (add to that reading your tweets in a very organized way) Flipboard is your reading buddy!

Oct 13, 2012, 5:01 AM

Pinterest is one of the fastest growing social media platforms nowadays, and I wouldn’t be surprised if most, if not all, people would gravitate towards this photo and video sharing, moodboard-inspired platform. Pin, re-pin, and browse with all ease… and mobility using this app!

Oct 13, 2012, 5:02 AM

Messaging is becoming innovative these days! What I love about these two apps is that they have a “Delivered-Read” function that relays to the sender if his/her message has been read or delivered. It’s really great if you have important messages and you need to know if the person has read it or not. Also, you can share media through these, which made it pretty much more awesome…

Oct 13, 2012, 5:00 AM

I won’t even pretend that I use this, haha! I mean c’mon, it’s the world’s leading gay location-based chatting app! I won’t explain how it works, ’cause I think it’s pretty obvious, haha! Took a screenshot while it hasn’t loaded other people though, we don’t want outing people, do we? *WINK*

Oct 13, 2012, 4:59 AM

The first app that I was so excited to use when I got my iPad is Instagram! It still is the world’s leading photo-sharing app, and don’t you love the filters? It’s integrated too with Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr, Flickr, Foursquare, and email that makes it one of the most powerful photo-sharing app also… Only if it has an iPad version… Hello Instagram, iPad is a mobile device too!

So the next big question is, what do you use to stay connected 24/7? I don’t know about you, but I use Globe Mobile Data services! To know more about Globe’s mobile data services and options, log on to and start enjoying these social apps!
