It’s a wonderful 2012 coming, I can feel it. Even better with this exclusive 2012 planner by Moonleaf Tea Shop!

Help #Sendong Victims!

It’s good that these kinds of calamity still induces creativity in us.

I really feel bad when I just knew of the victims of Sendong just yesterday. I still wasn’t feeling well, I’ve been to Bicol and then back for my sister’s debut… It was really a whirlwind week for me. So I just retweeted relief efforts, just so I can say I helped. But now, it’s helping for real na!

Then I saw it was all over Facebook and Twitter. We here at Manila didn’t even feel the storm, and it’s a blessing that we aren’t affected. But we have a responsibility somehow to our brothers and sisters in Mindanao.

You can always donate through several organizations, if you don’t know where to start. For instance, you can donate to Red Cross Philippines using your mobile phones —

Thru Red Cross, Text REDAMOUNT to 2899 (Globe) or 4143 (Smart)
Thru G-Cash, Text DONATEAMOUNT4-digit M-PINREDCROSS to 2882

You can donate the following denominations:
Globe: 5, 25, 100, 300, 500 or 1000
Smart: 10, 25, 50, 100, 300, 500 or 1000

ALSO You can head over Moonleaf Tea Shop at Maginhawa street in Teacher’s Village. They accept any donations – relief goods like canned goods, used clothes, shoes, blankets, rice, etc. All your donations will be welcomed… But as of now, according to reliable sources, potable drinking water is the main problem in CDO and Iligan so maybe some of us can donate drinking water. You can tweet @Thysz to know more about this! They can accept donations until Dec. 24, so go now and help Northern Mindanao!

PdP will also be there on Wednesday, Dec. 22! We’ll have a pop-up shop in which all proceeds will be donated to Sendong victims! Please check it out and let’s buy for a cause!

So for now, that’s it. In times like these, only Filipinos can help fellow Filipinos. Let’s help build an emphatic and generous nation! Although being happy somehow isn’t appropriate now, I am really happy Filipinos are quick to move to help the nation! Good job all!
