Gym stuff

Now this was months ago when I was invited by my friends from GMA Artist Center and Media Contacts PH to essentially watch a twinky heartthrob do crunches in front of me at Gold’s Gym Tomas Morato. Timely enough, I’ve been planning to go to the gym myself to get healthy (yeah, right!) and learning how fast Alden Richards shaped up for the Cosmopolitan Magazine Bachelor Bash (which I ultimately missed btw) really helped me decide to go to the gym even more determined than ever.

So now, yeah ogle at the hunky cuteness that is Alden Richards, hehe

Spice Girls Never Too Late

I know, I’m a bit late, and you prolly have watched this for a million times. And the Olympic page is already down. And we have to wait for another four years for the next Olympics (Ola Rio!) and maybe a lifetime before the girls do a another reunion performance or concert (but we never know.)

Posh, Scary, Baby, Ginger, and Sporty Spice… when you said you were pop stars for a moment there, we never thought you weren’t. You’ll always be stars for us. AND PLEASE. Do a reunion concert. A good reason to break that bank account :D

Starships a la Trasher BKK

Nicki Minaj was just here in Manila a few weeks back and boy how she loved the Filipinos’ warm welcome, but I guess she’ll find these trashers competing for attention!!! I love these guys…errr GIRLS! Love the color of the video, and always always always love the production design! They’ve gone a long way since they released We Found Love, their first hit parody earlier this year, and Riri would damn be proud!

Somebody bring them here in the Philippines!

I shall admit that I was never an Alcatel boy. I had the Siemens cutesy phone when I was in grade school, Nokia colored phone craze (thanks to my high school peer pressures), then switched to and from Samsung and Nokia in the span of my college years, then finally stuck with a BlackBerry. But it was never an Alcatel.

Daphne Osena-Paez collaborates with Bench Homescents

I was a bit confused when I was invited to Bench and the venue was Dimensione and they mentioned a collab with Daphne Osena-Paez (which btw I am a big fan from her Urban Zone days!) And true enough it is something to do with HOME.

Quoting Daphne…

“For as long as I could remember I always had room scents — whether it was candles, sprays, sachets or drawer liners. I want my home always smelling fresh and clean. I would tell these stories frequently on my blog Daphne.ph.”

The resulting trio reflects these sensibilities. “I wanted the fragrance line to reflect different moods. When I was creating this with the Bench team, I was imagining actual rooms. I took inspiration from food, travel and colors.”

For as long as I can remember, homescents are the least of my concern when designing my home. After the afternoon tea with Daphne, I instantly appreciated the value of home fragrance – how it helps set the mood or change the mood, whichever is needed. AND MY FAMILY APPRECIATES AND LOVES IT TOO!

My friend Angel won the Daphne chair worth P15,000! UBER COOL!

Aside from the home fragrance, Daphne also officially launched her chair collection! Each Daphne chair is carefully handmade by an award-winning, export-accredited furniture company. They are so cute but not to be fooled ’cause it’s masterfully engineered to last.

The Mall of Asia was mobbed by fashion aficionados and fans to witness the launching of Bench’s new fragrance offering, Gutz N’ Glory by Richard Gutierrez. The show was meant to show Richard’s two sides, as Gutz N’ Glory fragrances has two distinct aroma as well. There was a fashion show as well to showcase Bench’s new offerings for the summer!

Bench Gutz N’ Glory deo colognes are now available in Bench boutique stores nationwide!
