AND IT’S TIME FOR MY PHILIPPINE FASHION WEEK REVIEW! First show I saw this season, which also opened the whole week of fashion smorgasbord, is The Ramp – Crossings with Mixology.
I love the suspenders, and how that kid’s so dapper! Mixology is all about mixing these bold and subtle prints with color!
Mix the pantone of the year (Tangerine) with these light and pastel colors, and end with a slightly bolder color for shoes.
Plaid seems to be having a come back this year
But neutrals are classics. Accentuate with colors and defining cuts
Gold/chrome/copper/metal tones + prints
Florals and animal prints are still fighting fierce this season, as it has been for the past couple of.
And to top it all off, the show had a very nice playlist! Wish they’d upload it… Congrats to the Ramp – Crossings team for a wonderful show! Special shout out to our friend Melvin Mojica who styled the prod!
Thanks to Nica of Punchdrunk Panda for the passes!
