
I remember how my parents love this jeans brand. I could still remember stories of how they would save up for a pair of jeans when they were still in college and how it was then a luxury. It would be a tad bit elitist to think, but my mom told me that those times, when you have a Levi’s, it almost means you had a pocket to burn. There you go – luxury.

Some of the jeans I still had as hand-me-downs, and some they still use as home clothes. And so I’d like to believe that Levi’sdid really became known, not only for being one of the oldest clothing companies, but also for the best quality jeans there is.

It also marked an age, almost an era, of people wearing these jeans – to school, to work, to gimik, to an all-nighter, to church – to almost everywhere. Now, it became apparent also that wearing jeans can be “formal.” One can call it everybody’s uniform.

It became a part of our daily lives. It rides with us. It walks with us. It is with us. With this, the Go Forth campaign banks on youthful optimism and energy to cry for the drive to go forth the battle for a new and better future.

Levi’s new brand ambassadors








Congratulations to my friend Nina for being chosen as one of the brand ambassadors for Levi’s!!! I am truly proud of her when she started to walk on that runway – in shirt and jeans!!! Very fierce Nines!!! But I really do admire Nina’s positive energy and her drive for change. I believe Levi’s saw your genuine heart for your advocacy and that is why they really chose you to be part of this wonderful campaign. You go, girl!
These are not easy times, but they’re our times. Let’s go forth and make our own waves of change!
